What is Love Tomorrow?
Whether in De Schorre, Belgium or in the French Alps, Tomorrowland measures its impact on the surrounding nature and works to reduce it each year.
The mission is simple: to honour and protect the beauty of the mountains and foster a future where nature and people thrive together. In France, Tomorrowland works closely with the local authorities and SATA under clear agreements.
Love Tomorrow is a platform, integral to the essence of Tomorrowland, dedicated to sharing stories and creating solutions for a better future.

Innovative Waste Management
Guests experience advanced waste sorting and recycling with 90 recycling units, thanks to collaboration with Aremacs, Alpes Nettoyage and Lely. This was bolstered by over 100 dedicated recycling and cleaning ambassadors on-site. Waste was sorted on-site into separate streams to enable higher-quality recycling.
Reusable and recyclable food and drinks packaging
Reusable packaging solutions throughout the Festival are implemented, so that food and drink containers can be reused or recycled through the on-site sorting system.
Recycle Teams & Recycle Backpacks
The Love Tomorrow Recycle Teams are present every year at Tomorrowland Winter, helping the People of Tomorrow recycle and return their cups.
Carbon Footprint with Climate Camp
Since 2024, in collaboration with Climate Camp, the carbon assessment and mapping of the carbon footprint of Tomorrowland Winter is carried out. This crucial step lays the foundation for future actions, ensuring informed and well-measured decisions for future Love Tomorrow initiatives. Collaboration with A Greener Future
Since 2025, together with A Greener Future (AGF), Love Tomorrow evaluates Tomorrowland Winter’s sustainability performance. The report and recommendations are used to improve the sustainability actions and impact year over year.
Biofuels
The production transport of 3 main suppliers for Tomorrowland Winter operated on Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO) during build and break of the Festival. Depending on the feedstock, HVO can cut lifecycle CO₂ emissions by up to 90% compared with fossil diesel. Together with Sunweb, all Sunweb organized bus transport operates on HVO.
Fertilisation of farmland in France
Together with HappeeServices, urine gets collected and processed into a bio-based product, supporting fertilisation of farmland in France.
Compost toilets are installed in the mountain area.
Fixed power network
All stages at the festival operated on fixed power, except for the MainStage, which ran on HVO.
Special effects
The special effects on the MainStage were delivered by ECOJETS as an alternative to traditional CO2 jets. The ECOJET delivered powerful smoke effects without relying on CO2.
Free Sunscreen
Free SPF 30 sunscreen is available at all mountain stages to support sun protection throughout the day.
Inclusion
With the support of Incluv’ Events and Ladapt, the Festival is assessed in terms of support for visible and invisible disabilities. In collaboration with ESF, Tomorrowland Winter makes the Festival as accessible as possible to provide support where needed.

Make a Positive Change
Admire wildlife and alpine flora from a distance, never disturb their natural habitat. Avoid using products that could harm the environment or the delicate mountain ecosystem. Every small act of care helps preserve the beauty of Alpe d’Huez for all to enjoy.
Pack smart, live lightly
Only bring what you truly need, packing light means less hassle, lower fuel consumption, and a smaller environmental footprint. Be mindful with ski equipment too: choose high-quality, sustainable materials, buy second-hand, or rent your clothing to reduce waste.
Reduce, reuse, recycle
Minimise packaging wherever possible and switch to reusable alternatives. At Tomorrowland Winter, recycling is not optional, it is essential. Make sure to separate plastic bottles, cans, and beverage containers properly, and always leave the mountain as clean as it was found.
Carpool with friends to reduce fuel use per person, a simple step that cuts emissions.
Once in Alpe d’Huez, think about leaving the car behind: the local shuttle buses run on HVO, or the scenic walk is worth the time.
Plan your logistics well in advance: consider the terrain, transport options, and any local restrictions.
Choose lightweight, durable gear to make your journey easier and more efficient.

Tomorrowland is all about music, dancing and uniting people. It’s a magical place, where you can feel safe and welcome. A global gathering where everyone can be themselves.
Take care of yourself, look out for your friends and do not hesitate to reach out for help when any possible problem or issue occur.
At Tomorrowland, everyone should feel safe and comfortable, free from discrimination or harassment. The first aid staff is visible on site and available at several stations across Tomorrowland Winter. They are there to help, not judge. If you need assistance, seek out the specialized staff. There are psychologists present on site too. There is a We Care a Lot stand in the Visitor Experience Center.
