Love Tomorrow at Tomorrowland Winter 2025
A Journey Towards Sustainability
At Tomorrowland, the environmental impact is acknowledged. Whether in De Schorre (Belgium) or the Alps, operations are conducted with great respect for nature and the environment where the festival is organized, aiming for continuous improvement. The mission is simple: to honor and protect the beauty of the mountains and foster a future where nature and people thrive together. Adherence to the rules applicable in France is ensured by Tomorrowland, and clear agreements have been established with the various authorities and SATA.
What is Love Tomorrow?
Love Tomorrow is a platform, integral to the essence of Tomorrowland, dedicated to narrating and creating solutions for a better future.
Central to its mission is the key pillar of making a direct impact: initiating and steering projects and initiatives that transform the Tomorrowland festival into a beacon of sustainability and purpose.
At the core of Love Tomorrow lies a global strategic programme, infused with values and a vision that shape a sustainable festival journey. For Tomorrowland Winter 2025, the focus intensifies on critical pillars:
People of Tomorrow:
Awareness and sensibilization
Responsibility
Logistics and production
Energy and bio-fuels
Carbon footprint
Recycling and cleaning
Health
Body & mind
Respect
Inclusion
You can visit the Love Tomorrow website for more information about the strategy and the projects.
People of Tomorrow
Empowering the People of Tomorrow is believed in at Love Tomorrow. A lifestyle that respects the environment and encourages everyone to take responsibility and make sustainable choices is inspired together.
Experiences in Harmony with Nature
Tomorrowland doesn’t offer leisure helicopter and motorized tours. This decision reflects a commitment to significantly reduce carbon emissions and promote harmony with the natural environment.
Get involved: Love Tomorrow Reward
Receive rewards for opting for sustainable transport to the festival. Enhanced by Tomorrowland’s investment in additional charging stations, every green journey contributes to a better tomorrow.
To enable the use of sustainable transport, a shuttle from Grenoble train station to Alpe d’Huez is available. The People of Tomorrow are encouraged to choose sustainable transport through a Mobility as a service Platform in collaboration with Antidots and Alpe d’Huez.
Get involved: Love Tomorrow Pledge
Join in committing to a sustainable festival experience with a pledge. For each pledge, Tomorrowland contributes 1 euro to projects dedicated to the restoration and sustainable development of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes. To do so, there's a collaboration with Recyclerie Sportive.

Tomorrowland Winter & Love Tomorrow Partner with Grenoble’s Recyclerie Sportive to Launch a Solidarity and Eco-Responsible Initiative
Tomorrowland Winter and Love Tomorrow are joining forces with the Recyclerie Sportive of Grenoble to launch a solidarity and eco-friendly initiative: the collection of used ski clothing and equipment. This innovative project aims to reduce the ecological footprint by giving sports equipment a second life while prioritizing inclusion at the core of its actions.
The collected items will be carefully refurbished and entrusted to the Recyclerie Sportive, then offered at affordable prices, providing people in precarious situations the opportunity to access quality equipment and fully enjoy the delights of winter sports. This concrete approach reflects a deep commitment to making the mountains more accessible and environmentally respectful.
Entrepreneurs in Alpe d'Huez are invited to become collection points and inform their customers about this valuable project. By participating, they demonstrate a commitment to a sustainable and socially responsible future, actively contributing to building an inclusive and supportive ski community.
Recharge Hub
Caring for the planet, starts with caring for yourself. The Tomorrowland Winter Recharge Hub is a cozy and conscious retreat where the People of Tomorrow can recharge themselves and unwind by meditation or yoga.
Inclusion with ESF
Tomorrowland collaborates with ESF to make the festival as accessible as possible and provide support where needed in terms of accessibility.
Logistics and Production
Production transport driving on HVO
Tomorrowland Winter uses HVO (Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil) for production transport during build and break of the festival, for its own materials as a pilot in 2025. This supports sustainable festival logistics and reduces carbon emissions with 90%/
Energy efficiency in Action
Progressing towards complete sustainable energy use, all stages at the festival operate on fixed power, with the Mainstage uniquely utilizing HVO fuel. This marks a significant stride in the journey towards a fully green clean energy future. A complete shift to HVO fuel and fixed power, a powerful move.
Reducing energy-related carbon emissions by 80%.
This switch saves 387 tonnes of CO2
This is equivalent to 42 individual annual emissions.
Or 3523 car journeys from Paris to Alpe d’Huez.
Agricultural purposes of urine from visitors
2000 liters of urine will be collected to the turn into a bio-product that can feed 800ht of farmland in France. This is good for 70 tonnes of CO2 reduction.

Recycle Backpacks
Find the roaming team with backpacks across the festival grounds, ready to assist with convenient waste collection and recycling.
Innovative Waste Management
Experience advanced waste sorting and recycling with 90 recycling units. Thanks to collaboration with Aremacs, Alpes Nettoyage and Lely. Bolstered by over 100 dedicated recycling and cleaning ambassadors on-site. All waste is sorted to create 100% pure waste streams, ensuring high quality recycling.
Reusable and recyclable food and drinks packaging
Reusable packaging solutions throughout the festival will be implemented, ensuring that every food and drink container is 100% reusable and recyclable.
Special effects
Biodegradable confetti indoors and a thoughtful shift away from outdoor fireworks, aligning festivities with environmental care.
Carbon Footprint with Climate Camp
In collaboration with Climate Camp, the assessment and mapping of this year's carbon footprint are being carried out. This crucial step lays the foundation for future sustainable actions, ensuring informed and well-measured decisions for future Love Tomorrow initiatives. Through the platform, suppliers are sought to be engaged in joint efforts on sustainability goals and a collective endeavor for maximum reduction in emissions.
